HOSTEL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between the Hostel Management (“Management”) and the Student (and Parent/Guardian where applicable).
By registering for accommodation, making payment, or occupying a room within the hostel premises, the Student automatically agrees to abide by and be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as all Hostel Rules and Regulations.

1. Acceptance of Terms
1. Registration, payment of fees, or occupation of a hostel room shall constitute full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. No separate signature shall be required to enforce compliance once registration is completed.
3. Parents/Guardians, where applicable, acknowledge and accept joint responsibility for the Student’s compliance.

2. Eligibility and Admission
1. Accommodation is strictly limited to duly registered students.
2. Management reserves the absolute right to approve or decline any application for accommodation without assigning reasons.
3. Submission of false information may result in immediate termination of accommodation.

3. Payment Obligations
1. All accommodation fees must be paid in full before room allocation unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Payments are non-transferable and non-assignable.
3. Failure to complete payment within the stipulated period shall result in cancellation of the reservation.
4. Occupancy without full payment does not waive Management’s right to demand immediate settlement.

4. Refund Policy
1. All payments made are generally non-refundable once occupancy has commenced.
2. Refund requests prior to occupancy may be subject to administrative charges.
3. No refund shall be granted in cases of disciplinary eviction, voluntary withdrawal, or breach of hostel policies.

5. Duration and Termination
1. Accommodation is valid strictly for the academic session or period paid for.
2. Management reserves the right to terminate accommodation at any time for violation of hostel rules, misconduct, or non-payment.
3. Upon termination, the Student must vacate the premises immediately or within the period specified by Management.
4. Termination for misconduct shall not entitle the Student to any refund.

6. Compliance with Rules
1. Students must strictly comply with all Hostel Rules and Regulations, including but not limited to:
o No smoking within the premises
o No alcohol consumption or possession
o Adherence to the 10:00 PM curfew
o Proper and respectful conduct at all times
2. Management reserves the right to enforce disciplinary measures, including warnings, fines, suspension, or eviction.

7. Damages and Liability
1. The Student shall be fully liable for any damage caused to hostel property.
2. Costs of repair or replacement shall be borne by the Student.
3. Management shall not be liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings under any circumstances.

8. Right of Entry and Inspection
Management reserves the right to enter and inspect rooms at reasonable times for maintenance, safety, security, or compliance purposes.

9. Indemnity
The Student agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Hostel Management against any claims, liabilities, damages, or losses arising from the Student’s misconduct, negligence, or breach of these Terms.

10. Amendments
Management reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at its discretion. Continued occupancy after such amendments constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
Registration for accommodation automatically signifies acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. Any breach may result in immediate disciplinary action, including eviction without refund.
